Rachel Frimer

Rachel started her career in live theatre and small rock and roll clubs where she did everything from running follow spots to production stage managing.

Her television career began the same year that MTV launched. She began as a production assistant for video shoots and post production sessions. During the beginning of her career she had the honor of supervising the syndication editing for the “Superfriends” cartoon series.

Since that illustrious moment Rachel has been the Production Manager at National Video Center where she oversaw MTV’s first foray into a live television series. She then went to Orlando, Florida and helped to launch the Disney/MGM Studios where she ran their post production facility. It was that job that got her an opportunity to live and work in Lillehammer, Norway during the 1994 Winter Olympics.

Rachel went back to New York in 1995 as the Supervising Producer for the MTV Studios and was an integral part in the building and launching of their studio in Times Square.

Additionally Rachel has worked as a Line Producer on the Thanksgiving Day Parade, Broadway on Broadway, the Statue of Liberty Centennial Celebration, and the post 9/11 “Come Back To New York” commercial, something that will always make her proud.

Since 2003 Rachel has been the Vice President of Production for the Miss Universe Organization and has traveled all over the world overseeing the Miss USA and Miss Universe Pageants.
