Erin Brady

On June 16th 2013, Erin Brady became the first woman from Connecticut to capture the title of Miss USA. A former financial accountant for Prudential Retirement, the 26-year-old East Hampton native graduated from Central Connecticut State University with a degree in Finance and a minor in Criminal Justice. Erin has been a role model to her two younger sisters and now can say the same about all of the people she influenced over her year as Miss USA 2013. She made the conscious decision to live on her own at the age of 17, an experience that taught her how to be self-sufficient and emotionally strong. Independent and resourceful, Erin paid her way through school by waitressing and is proud to be the first person in her family to obtain a college degree. During her reign, Erin was cast as the lead in Gavin DeGraw’s summer hit music video, “Best I Ever Had.” Her magnetic personality has landed her in front of the camera co-hosting shows including VH1’s “Big Morning Buzz,” “Good Day New York,” and most recently, “Better Connecticut.” She is also a recurring guest correspondent for OK! TV.

Erin recently finished shooting a show for ABC Family called “Startup U”, where she started her own business over the course of seven weeks and pitched it to a group of venture capitalists in hopes of an investment.
