    #beMOREthanPRETTY Campaign Launches

    During their reign, and beyond, our titleholders enrich others through humanitarian efforts affecting positive change. Due to an immense variety of efforts and charities supported by Miss Universe, Miss USA and Miss Teen USA titleholders each year, MUO will highlight all efforts under one philanthropic umbrella, #beMOREthanPRETTY. With this campaign, MUO has the ability to better support and draw attention, to our titleholder’s philanthropic efforts; as well as the efforts of other young women around the world.

    Our Miss USA contestant’s will introduce the new philanthropic tagline to the world by highlighting their own charitable affiliations this June, via Miss USA’s #beMOREthanPRETTY Challenge. Miss USA, Nia Sanchez started the challenge this Memorial Day weekend by conducting an act of charity for a cause close to her heart and challenging two(2) Miss USA contestants to do the same within 24 hours. We ask that each contestant continue nominating others to keep the cycle of good will and empathy in effect well into July. If any person is unable to meet the challenge within 24 hours, we ask that they consider making a donation to the USO’s ‘OPERATION: That’s MY Dress’ Campaign and continue nominating others.
